A team of Kuaishou influencers and media representatives, led by Yang Dehui, Food Safety Director of Uni-President’s Southwest China region, witnessed the complete manufacturing process. The live broadcast revealed meticulous procedures including the unique “Three Cleansing and Three Washing” technique, traditional ceramic jar fermentation, and multiple sterilization checks before packaging.

Uni-President’s two-stage fermentation process sets its pickled vegetables apart. After initial fermentation, workers layer the vegetables with garlic and secret spices in ceramic jars with low-salt brine for secondary fermentation. The process results in superior texture, aroma, and flavor compared to standard single-fermentation methods.
Rigorous Safety Protocols
The tour highlighted advanced quality control measures, including X-ray machines and metal detectors that automatically reject packages containing foreign objects. Each batch undergoes both machine inspection and manual review before approval. The sterilization packaging facility maintains strict hygiene standards, requiring full disinfection and protective gear for all personnel.

Participants engaged in hands-on activities including vegetable processing challenges and recipe innovation sessions using the pickled vegetables.
