On May 16, safety experts at the Greater Bay Area Risk Reduction Innovation Center in Dongguan demonstrated an “AI Three-Level Management System,” remotely instructing a construction worker to wear a safety helmet at a residential site. The same day witnessed the launch of both the Earthquake Knowledge and Disaster Prevention Guide and Ping An’s “Catastrophic Earthquake Model” in Lanzhou, Gansu Province.
These events marked Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Company’s nationwide campaign to promote disaster prevention awareness during China’s National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Week. Through diverse activities, the company aims to strengthen public preparedness against natural calamities.

During its six-month pilot, the system achieved remarkable results: 3,700+ AI warnings, 445 remote interventions, and 128 on-site inspections – each representing a potential accident prevented.
